CmCt - Cryospheric Model Comparison Tool

Description

The Cryospheric Model Comparison Tool (CmCt) is a NASA-developed ice sheet model validation framework that compares ice sheet models against satellite observations. CmCt facilitates direct comparisons between satellite observational data and various ice sheet models, featuring multiple modules including IMBIE mass balance comparison, gravimetry analysis using GRACE satellite data, altimetry validation with ICESat data, and the new Ice Area Extent module. The tool addresses critical gaps in ice sheet modeling by providing standardized validation methods that reduce sea level projection uncertainty and advance climate science understanding.
